WRITE FOR US

First of all, you have a story to share. Yes you. And you probably have a few thoughts and opinions you wouldn’t mind expressing either. Well, you’ve come to the right place. Transparency Magazine is a user-driven publication and we’re always looking for writers. It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional writer or if you loathe the craft, we know you have something to share and we want to hear it. To submit an article, just send it to editor@transparencymag.com. Make sure you check out the submission guidelines below.

WRITING GUIDELINES

Articles will fall under three sections (though some may crossover to more than one). The common strains throughout all stories are that, in some way, they point to God and reveal something about the writer. Articles should be 450-1,200 words.

SEEKING GOD

This section is primarily about spiritual journeys, relationship with God and connecting people with God. It may include a portion of your testimony, your search for God or something that challenges Christians and non-Christians to seek God in a serious and deeper way.

SHARING LIFE

This section covers pretty much everything we deal with in life—emotional, physical, financial, social, spiritual, etc. Share your experiences, struggles, triumphs and tragedies. Just pour out your heart and soul to encourage others.

SOCIAL COMMENTARY

Have an opinion on a social issue or a current event? Want to discuss a controversial topic? Here’s the place to share it. We want you to be real, but also well balanced. We welcome thoughtful commentaries, particularly those that don’t preach, but rather challenge readers to think, explore, and if need be, act.

Please send submissions as Word attachments and put “Article Submission” in the subject line. Include a one or two-sentence bio as well. Articles will be edited for content, grammar and style. There is no compensation for articles. Writers maintain the copyrights for their articles, though we ask any reprints mention that the article first appeared on Transparencymag.com.
