We, at Modern Tea with Company, are dedicated to providing all of our customers with a high quality, exceptional and first class tea experience. Whether it be through our tea party hosting services or through one of our unique and modern tea or tea related products, we strive to exceed customer expectations. All of the systems we have in place including customer service, product shipment, product quality, website functionality and ease of use are designed with the customer in mind as to promote a first rate experience.

RETURN POLICY

All products offered on our website come with a 14 day return policy. Upon receipt of your item, you have a 14 day window to return or exchange the item for another product. If the product is returned with no exchange, we will be more than happy to return your money immediately. If the product is unsatisfactory in some way or damaged, simply contact us within the 14 day window and we'll be more than happy to accommodate any requests.

TEA PARTY CANCELLATION POLICY

We require a 48 hour cancellation policy for all tea party hosting & catering events. If a 48 hour cancellation notice is not given, we are not obligated to return the 10% reservation deposit.

This is a very important question to ask. Being avid tea enthusiasts, we have sampled many products and teas over the years. When we decided to launch this website, we decided to offer the highest quality, easy to use, convenient, and affordable products on the market today. All of the products that we offer have been tested and used by the owners and partners of this website with much acclaim. As we discover more of these products we will offer them on our site for your use.

Shipping Policy

GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY: Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS or U.S. Mail rates (where applicable), which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart. When you're done, click on "save changes, go to check out." Enter your zip code, then click on "save changes, show new total." This will display all available shipping costs. Modern Tea with Company offers UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 48 contiguous United States. Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii) are sent by your choice of UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air delivery. These orders are not eligible for UPS Ground.

DELIVERY AND LEAD TIME: Since UPS does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: A Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time. Ground shipping: Orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 to 72 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 4:30 pm EST. If an order is placed before 12 PM PST, the order may ship out that same day. Express shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day): These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 2:30 PM PST. If an express order is placed before 12 PM PST, it will usually ship out that same day.

BACKORDERS: Shipping time on backordered items varies. You will be contacted via phone or email if you order a backordered item. At this point you can either choose to wait for the item, or remove it from your order. If you choose to wait, the backordered item will ship out to you automatically just as soon as we get it back in stock. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when this will occur. Payments for backordered items are made up front as part of the original order. This helps to keep shipping costs down, as it would be more expensive to charge for two separate shipments. If you choose to remove the backordered item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.
