Welcome to Peaceful Acres, We are looking forward to meeting you. Please use the following directions to find us:


NY State Thruway

  • Take Exit 26
  • Follow Route 5s West toward Rotterdam Junction (approximately 4 miles)
  • Left on Rynex Corners Rd. (Across from Decker's Landscaping and Mobil Gas)
  • Peaceful Acres is on the left approximately 1.5 miles, look for the sign and the tan and green house and barn.


From Route 890

  • Follow Rte. 890 to the Rotterdam Junction, Rte 5s exit
  • Follow Route 5s West toward Rotterdam Junction (approximately 4 miles)
  • Left on Rynex Corners Rd. (Across from Decker's Landscaping and Mobil Gas)
  • Peaceful Acres is on the left approximately 1.5 miles, look for the sign and the tan and green house and barn.


From the Amsterdam Area

  • Take Rte 5s east to Pattersonville
  • Right on Rynex Corners Rd (Across from Decker's Landscaping and Mobil Gas)
  • Peaceful Acres is on the left approximately 1.5 miles, look for the sign and the tan and green house and barn.

Sponsor a Horse


For $50.00 a month (about $1.67 a day) you can sponsor the feeding of one of our horses used to help at risk youth, victims of domestic violence and other beneficiaries of our many community programs at Peaceful Acres.


Sponsor a Child


Your generous gift of $80.00 a month (only $2.66 a day), about the cost of a cup of coffee, you can provide a deserving child with our 'Day at the Farm' program where they will learn to ride, care for and interact with one of our horses but most importantly, you will be giving them the self-confidence and self-reliance to rebuild their lives.
