The library houses over 10,000 volumes which
may be borrowed by members in good standing. Also available are over 50
periodicals, including a number of Columbia University publications—even the Spectator!
With the arrival of the Business Center, the Library has
rearranged its Book Collections. Current Mystery, Biography, Fiction and
Non-Fiction are located on either side of the Library Display Case. The Art Collection is highlighted across
from them. FREE Paperbacks and Audio-books are back in their usual place by the
Librarians’ desks.
With the Library’s access to three
bookcases in the new Business Center, we are pleased to announce the donation
of several directories: The Directory
of Recruiters 2003 (Vol. I – Listings, and Vol. II – Indices); The Directory of
Executive Recruiters (CD Rom inside); The International Directory of
Recruiters: Kennedy’s Pocket Guide to Working with Executive Recruiters, The
Recruiters Research Blue Book, and The Directory of Outplacement & Career
Management firms 2003, all by Kennedy Information.
Also, on display will be Non-Fiction
books numbered 0 to 600 approximately, including: economics, journalism, law,
psychology, philosophy, religion and science.
THE LOUNGE
The Prospect Lounge
is open to all members during regular club hours. From 11:00 am to 4:30 pm each weekday complimentary coffee, tea, and iced
beverages are available.
Meetings of small groups may
take place in the lounge provided they do not disturb others and that no
business paraphernalia is displayed.

Use of laptop computers is
permitted in the lounge. Use of cellular phones is not permitted in the
lounge.
Backgammon and card tables are also available for members' use.
