·                Exclusive Golf Membership Program

The Club is happy to announce that we have already received positive feedback about our affiliation with Tour GCX, a private golf membership program. Tour GCX offers individuals and corporations a unique way to gain access to private golf clubs. PCNY members will have the opportunity to take advantage of enhanced features of this program. Tour GCX is a one-of-a-kind program allowing qualified golfers the ability to play golf at a variety of outstanding private courses within the Tour GCX network, which currently includes the New York Metropolitan area (13), Las Vegas (3) and Southeast Florida (1) and continually expanding. Tour GCX offers flexible individual and corporate membership programs that provide an ideal client entertainment or recreational golf solution to play like a private club member.

 

PCNY/Tour GCX members can purchase a pre-determined number of tee units. Each tee unit can be redeemed for a foursome at private clubs within the Tour GCX network, inclusive of green fees and cart fees. Tee units can also be applied towards Tour GCX Special Events and other exclusive golf experiences. Members will be asked to submit an application and the Club will verify your membership status.

·          Security has been heightened at the Club

Please be prepared to present your membership card to the management of the Club upon request.  When arranging to meet guests at the Club, please ask them to wait for you in the lobby.  Non-members may not visit the Club unescorted unless prior arrangements have been made to issue a guest pass.

 

·          Got Hobbies? Form a Special Interest Group! Club Members are encouraged to form special interest groups relating to hobbies, games or subjects that interest you. So if you enjoy bridge, chess, music, or foreign languages why not meet with other members who share similar interests. If you are interested in creating a group call the Program Director at (212) 596-1263 to get started.

 

·          Room Reservations are easier than ever to make at the Club.  Simply drop us an e-mail at rooms@princetonclub.com. The Club’s 50 well-appointed rooms include singles, twins, doubles, queens, kings, and two executive suites. They are complete with TV and phones with a computer modem attachment. All rooms have a private bath, and include valet, maid and room services.

 

·          Wireless Internet Access now available throughout the Club.

 

·          The Business Center on the fifth floor will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It has four carrels with new powerful computers and flat-screen monitors supplied by the Club for members’ use as well as two carrels for members with their own laptops. The carrels provide an ample, comfortable, quiet and private working environment, with electrical outlets and printer connections.  Members can use the color and black-and-white printers, copy machine, and fax machine. The Club’s new wireless technology will allow members to connect to the Internet from the Business Center, as well as anywhere else in the Club. There are two large enclosed telephone booths with writing surfaces for making calls privately, and a section for general reference books.

 

 

·          Program Cancellation Policy.  Cancellations may be made only through the Program or Manager’s Office during business hours, M-F, 9 AM to 4:30 PM.  Cancellations must be received by 4:30 PM, two business days prior to the program/event so as not to incur a charge.  All cancellations received after this date will be charged in full unless otherwise stated.  No-shows and cancellations made the day of an event will be charged the full price of program/event.

 

·          Cancellation Policy for Free Events too.  A $10.00 fee will be incurred with free events if members do not cancel reservations by noon on the day of the event, unless otherwise stated.

 

·          Attention Movie Lovers!

 The Columbia Club is pleased to offer Loews Galaxy Movie Passes.  Each pass can be redeemed for one admission at all Loews, Cineplex Odeon, Star, Magic Johnson, and Loews Imax theatres.  Tickets can be used any day of the week including holidays and weekends.  There are no restrictions and they are good for one year through last day of month punched.

 

Tickets available to ALL Club members and are on a first come-first served basis.  Since passes are limited, please order no more than six tickets per month.

·          Employee of the month for May 2005 - Benjamin “Ben” Lee Ben has been working at the Club for one and a half years as an engineer. Although his family is originally from North Carolina, Ben was born in Brooklyn and currently resides in the neighborhood of Canarsie. Away from the Club, Ben creates his own hip-hop music and recently released a CD of his original music. He also likes bowling, shooting pool, and watching movies. Ben enjoys working at the Club because of the friendly and pleasant environment.

 

·          Employee of the month for June 2005 - Mohammed Houssain Originally from Bangladesh, Houssain lives with his wife and 2 children in Flushing, Queens. Houssain has been working at the Club since 1999 as a lunch and dinner waiter. In his free time, likes to travel to new places with his family and watch the New York Yankees play baseball. Houssain says working at the Club is great because the staff, management, and the members are the best!
